You stir paranoia into a group of creatures to make them believe their own shadows are against them. Choose a 20ft radius point centred within range. Each creature in that area must make a WIS saving throw. On a failure their shadows rise against the creature and deal 6d8 psychic damage per turn. At the end of each creature's turn they make another WIS saving throw to disbelieve these shaded attacks.
These shadows are only dissipated by magical darkness or when the spell ends. On a success, the spell fails against the creature.
