You can quickly speed up, pause and rewind time over the 24 hours recorded. Sound is not recorded and if there was magic cast you see what type it was. If the area was subject to a dispel magic or anti-magic field then those objects or location are shrouded. Creatures that cannot be scried upon or are immune to magic as also not recorded.
