1 minutes time studying: You understand what the subject is
10 minute time studying: You understand the alchemical and scientific properties of the subject
1 hour time studying: You understand the most appropriate application/s of the subject (how it's used ), or it's derivatives
2 hours time studying: You have a greater understanding how the subject fits in with the world, how it behaving and what importance does it have.
